Linguidoor
Overview
Redesigned Linguidoor’s Berlin-based translation platform to improve usability, strengthen brand messaging, and better showcase its AI localization solutions. The 6-week project resulted in 42% higher engagement and 37% lower bounce rates through intuitive navigation, visual hierarchy, and SEO optimization.
Challenge
The original website faced critical usability challenges: cluttered layouts created cognitive overload, driving a 60% bounce rate; poor discoverability due to a missing sitemap undermined SEO performance; and ineffective conversions resulted from users struggling to identify relevant services.

Role
As the sole designer, I led the end-to-end redesign—from initial user research to final developer handoff. I established a scalable Figma design system from scratch to ensure consistency across all platforms. Collaborating closely with marketing teams and subject-matter experts, I aligned UX decisions with core business objectives to drive measurable impact.

Context
We aimed to improve the SEO and brand image by redesigning our Linguidoor website.
Linguidoor’s original website struggled with unclear navigation, low visibility, and outdated UI, making it difficult for users to connect with our mission and services. This case study showcases how I identified key challenges, conducted research, and delivered a redesigned website that improves usability, aligned with industry standards, and enhances SEO.
Problem
Where does our website fall short in meeting user and business needs?
After auditing their website, I identified three critical problems:
🔍
People didn’t know Linguidoor
Users couldn’t find Linguidoor on Google because of poor UX flow, SEO and a weak sitemap
💬
The message isn’t clear or impactful
The website’s layout caused visual overload, memory strain, and slow loading times, resulting in a 60% bounce rate.
🫤
Poor navigation because of poor UX
Visitors don’t clearly understand the right services due to info overload leading to low enquires
Research
How can Linguidoor’s website better align with industry trends and user needs?
To inform the redesign, I explored user needs and industry best practices:
8+ Competitors Analysis
Reviewed traslation & Localisation companies and startups to understand how they structure their websites, convey their message, and design for impact.
4+ Internal Feedback
Facilitated collaborations & discussions with stakeholders like marketing experts, sales, lead generators & SME'S to identify user pain points and goals.
SEO + Trend Analysis
Researched effective IA, design trends, and SEO strategies to ensure improved discoverability and usability.
Goals
To build a modern brand that’s easy to find, visually engaging, and clear about what we offer
🕵️♂️
Improve SEO to boost visibility
Optimizing meta tags, alt text, keyword density, and mobile responsiveness.
💬
Craft clear and engaging messaging
😎
Making services easy to understand
Showcase what we offer with easier layouts, step-by-step guides, and concise explanations.
Ideation
How might we improve SEO and usability by reorganising our website structure?
I redesigned the sitemap to group related pages logically, prioritise key sections like "services" and ensure all pages of the services are within three clicks. Adding a resource hub enhances SEO with long-tail keywords & optimising keyword density in individual pages, while the new structure improves usability, flow and aligns with Linguidoor’s conversion goals. Key areas that I focused on was page prioritisation for faster crawling, logical hierarchy, improved navigation, reduce information overload.
Old Sitemap
1st level information(L1) Mostly available on the homepage
2nd Level Information(L2) Deeper information connecting from the home
3rd Level Information(L3) Connecting pages from L2, which are kept hidden for this showcase

New Sitemap
Key areas that I focused on was page prioritisation for faster crawling, logical hierarchy, improved navigation, reduce information overload. A new resource hub boosted SEO through long-tail keywords and optimised keyword density, while the restructured IA improved usability and aligned with conversion goals.
